Confession of a Working Mummy

I used to be a workaholic before Noah was born.  Working 7 days a week, clocking in at 8.30 a.m. and clocking out at 2 – 3 a.m. the next day (these was during my consolidation days).  It was bad I tell you… Quality of life was zero!

Things had slowed down once I got hitched to Mr. Judge.  However, since I had to handle a very important project at that point of time, I still go back late.  Luckily, Mr Judge was working shifts with different working hours every few days.  So, things were not that bad.

Once Noah came into my life, all my priorities changed.  I look forward to go back early on a daily basis just to spend time with my little dynamo.  I was always green with envy every time my mom/maid shared stories on what Noah did that particular day and regretted that I did not get to be there to witness them.

I am not blaming Noah for my lack of interest in work.  In fact, I am thankful that he had made me realised that there are things that are more valuable in life other than slaving yourself at work day in day out and still not achieving any work satisfaction.

I am not saying that other working mummies out there are not good mothers for putting their work as a priority.  I actually salute them for being able to juggle both worlds excellently and still manage to have time for themselves.

These are my mission for this year:

To be able to watch my lil’ man grow up every single day…

To be able to teach him all the things that will equip him to be a better muslim

To be able to spend quality time with family

To travel and see the world (FOC)

To do all the above and not feel guilty about neglecting my office work and letting my superiors and colleagues down.

I believe that Premium Beautiful will be able to help me achieve my mission.  InsyaAllah…
