Alhamdulillah…  After 4 months of fighting for the FREE VVIP Trip, 50 of TLC members qualified for trip! And my business partner, Roziah and I were part of those that qualified…  Double joy!

Last Friday, we were celebrated in a small, intimate event organised by our Mentors at Sari Ratu Prima, Subang Parade.

Since the theme for the night was “batik”, everyone came clad in batik – traditional, indon, and even contemporary..  As usual, TLC kalau bab dressing up memang hebat!

image

Our Multi-millionaire mentor, CDM Azlan Deraman came too, despite his busy schedule during the month of Ramadhan. He had even given us more motivation and tips to charge ahead in the business…  Can you imagine, a multi-millionaire detailed out every single step that you need to take in order to be in his place within 2-3 years…  Tak kedekut ilmu langsung..  Actually CDM Azlan is the most humble person that I know that never use his status and money for anything except to help others succeed like him. In sya Allah CDM..  Kami tak akan sia2 kan nasihat yang CDM bagi.

After our super delicious masakan padang iftar (with gulai tunjang, ikan nila goreng, paru berlado, ayam berlado and many other scrumptious Sari Ratu Prima menu), we were celebrated in the grand TLC way…  I shall let the pictures do the talking…

Confession of a Working Mummy – Balancing work, leave and the sick child

Both of my kids have been having the bouts of cough and flu, especially Noah since January this year.  The doctor said that he has a bad sinus that his nose could not filter off the germs and that causes him to get sick easily.  I have been taking him to the doctor’s clinic almost every other week since the beginning of the year… And I hate the fact that I even had to pull him out of playschool as he had to skip class every few days/weeks due to his sickness…

Zayd had been warded for 3 days last 2 weeks due to acute bronchilitis.  At 5 months of age, it is heart-breaking to see my baby to go through such ordeal.  I kept on praying to Allah to get him out of his misery and just let me bare the pain.  I just could not stand to watch him in pain every time they try to give him the nebulizer… Kesian ok…

IMG_20130410_151737 IMG_20130412_223743

As a mother, I wish I could be by my sons’ side every single day, especially when they are sick.  However, as a working mother, I also have the duty to show up at work and perform my role in order to fulfill my KPI.  Hence, my mind would not be at peace every time I had to go to work when I know my sons are unwell…

mmexport1366595496342 mmexport1366595521075

I do not know whether my current superior understands my situation right now.  I have been taking annual leave and emergency leave quite frequent for the past 3 months plus.  What makes it worse is that I just came back from maternity leave in January.  I do not want to be marked as an under performing employee just because I have been taking leaves because I make sure that I complete and deliver my work on time as required.  However, knowing him, he will definitely take my leaves as a factor during the appraisal session later.

How do you, working mummies like me do it?

Thank God I am venturing into this SOHO online business and building up my coffers in order for me to take a permanent leave from work.  The income that I get from this business is growing exponentially and I am praying hard that the day will come very soon that I would be able to stay at home with my sons and provide them with the attention and care that they need.  Do pray that I can achieve this dream…

Here is an interesting article that I found in The Star this morning that I wished to share with all of you…

Balancing work, leave and the sick child

By ZIEMAN

It is never easy to deal with sick children especially when you are a working parent. This is the dilemma that working parents face. It is actually a tough decision whether to take leave or leave the kids with relatives or a babysitter.

Most working parents feel guilty having to send their sick children to the day care centre, but sometimes they are left with no choice especially if they don’t have a helper nor supportive relatives, and they have exhausted their annual leave.

Social media executive Diana Roslam, 28, finds herself in a fix each time she has to take her child for her immunisation jabs or when one-year-old Emma Arianna falls ill. Her husband works out of town and although her extended family is ever supportive, the onus is on her to take care of her child at such times.

“I’m lucky that the place that I’m working at is close to home. I get 15 days off in a year. But it’s only April and I’ve already used up seven days; four days in the hospital and three days of her having fever due to teething. I find myself counting the days left and sometimes saying ‘No’ to having a couple of days off from the hectic-ness at work just because I want to keep the leave for ‘Emma-gencies’.

“As a mother to a young toddler, I feel guilty leaving her at home but if I were to give up my job, I would not be able to provide her the future that my husband and I want for her. We wouldn’t be able to buy her toys, educational books, diapers and milk, among other things. For now, my priority is to balance work and family, and at the same time, try to hold on to whatever makes my baby happy.

“I love my baby and would do anything for her. If I could, I’d stay home with her and teach her all the things that I want her to know, but I don’t have the luxury of doing so. There are bills to be paid and of course, THAT piece of paper that I worked hard on when I graduated from university,” explains Diana.

Make the Right Choice!

I am not going to talk about which party that you should choose in the upcoming General Election (GE13).

Instead, I wish to share about why I chose to join the Network Marketing business by Hai-O.

Borrowing the words of the MLM Guru, the great Winston Wong, “We are now in the 21st Century and the MLM Industry has changed and evolved by leaps and bounds – have you changed your perception of the industry yet? Or are you still looking at the industry in the 1980s?” (quote from his book, The Misunderstood Industry : Network Marketing – The New Profession)

Why I chose Hai-O?

hai-o logo_beautiful pleasure

Hai-O Marketing has been in the industry for over 20 years now.  It is a public listed company that is subject to all the rules and regulations imposed by Bursa Malaysia.  The company is well established and is making steady growth throughout the years.

hai-o_beautiful pleasures

Hai-O’s nine-month financial year (ending April 2013 net profit had rebounded commendably by 31% year-on-year to RM32.2mil and we attribute this to the strong recovery from its MLM division, underpinned by the healthy membership growth and higher volume sales recorded in its bigger ticket items such as foundation garments, water filter and food purifier.

It is proven that the company is very stable and strong.  It has won many awards i.e. Forbes Asia “Best Under A Billion” list (for 4 consecutive years), from Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Koperasi & Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK) “Perniagaan Beretika” (also for 4 consecutive years) and many more.  Hence, there is no single doubt that Hai-O is the best choice for me to start my journey in this industry.

Furthermore, with the proven system and transparent marketing plan, I am able to understand the whole mechanics of the business easily.  It is also an added benefit for me when I am out sponsoring as everything has been spelled out clearly.

Why I Chose the Top Leaders Circle (TLC)?

TLC_beautiful pleasure

In order to succeed in this business, apart from having a strong and reputable company and system, you need to have a strong mentor and great culture.  I believe that TLC is a superb group to be in because it has all the essential ingredients to groom me to become a great Omnipreneur.

The leaders are very inspiring and humble, yet are able to push you to achieve your dreams with motivational words and encouragement.  They are willing to go out of their way to assist you with everything that you need to succeed, up to the extend of lending an extra hand during sponsoring session and power closing!  Can you tell me if your CEOs or bosses do the same for you at your workplace?

285210_10151289593571984_260588698_n

They are not out to push you to make money for them.  This is NOT the way we roll.  TLC is a group of aspiring omnipreneurs, from diverse backgrounds, that come together and thrive in this business to pursue out dreams and goals.  We live and breathe by our values of humility, progressiveness and professionalism.

We work hard together and have fun together.  There will always be roars of laughter every time the group meets.  What more when we travel together… Don’t believe me, check out TLC in London video below…
