I know it has been ages since the Gold Coast trip and I have not had the chance to update on the remaining days. My apologies as things had been pretty hectic on the business and home front. In sya Allah I shall try to update on the remaining days before my next FREE trip to Shanghai on the 22nd of September (another FREE trip.. Woot Woot!)
Basically we arrived at the Brisbane International Airport early in the morning just after breakfast. The timing was perfect as we could just continue with the tour for the day before checking in to the hotel to maximise our time spent in Gold Coast.
Our first tour stop was the Paradise Country Farm. Before we departed from KL, the tour guide had already asked us for our preferred lunch menu on the farm. It was a choice between Salmon, Chicken or Meat. Aussie being the land of premium quality beef and lamb, majority of us of course chose meat! And we truly did not regret the choice one bit.
After lunch, our group was given a tour around the farm. Like all the other parks in Australia, you have the chance to meet many outback animals on the farm, like the kangaroos, koalas, sheeps, emu, dingos and llamas.
I seriously don’t fancy touching animals, plus I have had the chance petting most of them during my last trip to Perth few years back. Hence, this time around I just take the opportunity to share the joy of others that are seeing the animals for the first time.
The best part about the trip was that I get the chance to get to know more about my fellow TLC sisters and brothers. The joy on the faces that you see in these pictures are genuine… Everyone truly enjoyed each others company and was delighted to get the opportunity to travel together, what more for FREE!
After half a day at the farm, we finally made our way to our hotel, the Outrigger Hotel, Surfers Paradise. This hotel is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, facing the beautiful ocean. This 5-star hotel is just a walking distance away from all the happening shops and outlets in Surfers Paradise. According to the tour guide, not many tourist can afford to stay in hotels right smack on Surfers Paradise because it is super duper expensive. Hence, we were really thankful to be able to experience this luxury trip fully sponsored by the company.
We had our dinner that night at a Malaysian restaurant in Surfers Paradise. Since it was just a walking distance away, the tour guide took the opportunity to show us the shops around the area where we can get good and cheap souvenirs *smile*. And guess what.. Those shops are owned by Malaysians too! Sangat bangga ok…
And since it WAS Valentine’s Day and since we were on a “honeymoon” mood, Hubby and I took a stroll along the Surfers Paradise beach that night with a full moon lighting our path. It was really a great way to end our first night in Gold Coast.
It was truly a great trip and I am really grateful to be among the achievers for the Gold Coast trip. I will be flying off for my 2nd FREE trip to Shanghai next week and my 3rd FREE trip to Austria & Hungary early next year.
I never would have imagined that I would be able to go on these VVIP trips fully sponsored. Not only do I get to go on FREE vacations twice a year, I also get the opportunity to spend quality time with my husband whilst having fun with my brothers and sisters in business. What else can I ask for…..
